CASA Properties

CASA currently has more than 50 communities consisting of 570 affordable apartment units in its portfolio. Since 1992, we’ve worked to add more affordable housing options in Wake, Durham, and Orange Counties, but we have never grown as fast as we are now. Below are CASA’s newest construction developments, which will add more than 250 new affordable apartments to our community when completed.

CASA is growing

The Solution to Homelessness is Housing

As homelessness in our community grows, our housing development work is more important than ever. CASA purchases naturally occurring affordable housing in our community as preservation opportunities and also builds new construction from the ground up. Each new construction and acquisition project has a mix of funding sources, often including support from the city, the county, federal sources, private foundations, and local donors. Combining public and private dollars is what makes our work possible. Learn more below.
