CASA is happy to celebrate Macy’s as our December Partner of the Month!
Macy’s reached out to CASA last month to learn more about our affordable housing mission. They are already big givers of time and money to local causes around the country, supporting organizations fighting hunger, providing clothing, responding to disasters, and granting the wishes of kids with critical illnesses. It was a delight to hear from them and their hope to expand their generosity to include CASA!
To kick off our new partnership, Macy’s is making a $10,000 gift to CASA’s Housing Solution Fund, the fund that fills the gap between what our tenants can afford to pay in housing expenses and what it costs CASA to maintain high quality rental homes. This incredible gift will allow us to move three families out of homelessness and into a permanent home for one full year! We can’t wait to welcome home these new tenants in 2021.
