The time has arrived! King’s Ridge will be opening not only beautiful new homes but they will be fully furnished with furniture and homegoods and we need your help. We have several opportunities over the course of January that volunteers can sign up for depending on availability and ability. The first stage of volunteers will help assist with unloading and assembling furniture for the 100 units. Tasks will include unboxing, building furniture, moving furniture, and trash disposal. Helpers do not need any prior experience. Please bring a set of tools and power drill if able. The second and final stage of volunteers before people move in, volunteers will help assist staging home goods in all the units – homegoods include pots, pans, linens, towels, and more.

Background: King’s Ridge is a 100-unit community consists of 1- 2- and 3-bedroom units and is designated for families and individuals moving out of homelessness. For the first time ever, CASA is including supportive services on site. The building will have two medical clinics, case managers, a tenant liaison, and flexible community space—all designed to wrap our future tenants in care and provide them with a healing and supportive community.
