The Fifth Annual Cabin for CASA Memorial Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, 6:30-9:00pm, at Whitaker & Atlantic in Raleigh. The event will feature food and drink from Posh Nosh Catering, a DJ, and a huge raffle and silent auction. Proceeds support CASA’s affordable housing mission across the Triangle.
Five years ago, the Cabin for CASA was founded by Knightdale couple Rusty and Nella DeMent to honor Rusty’s late mother, Lynn Robertson DeMent. Lynn was a founding member of CASA’s Board of Directors. This year, CASA supporters will be celebrating in loving memory of both Lynn and CASA’s longtime CEO, Debra K. King, who died in April after a battle with cancer.
