CASA’s partnership with The Women’s Center has become a meaningful collaboration built on compassion and shared commitment. Over the years, our organizations have worked together on several projects that support women experiencing homelessness and help them move toward long-term stability.
A Collaborative Partnership
One of the most impactful examples of this work is at King’s Ridge, CASA’s supportive housing community in Raleigh. Through this partnership, women exiting homelessness have gained access to safe, stable housing and ongoing support. “We have been fortunate to work with CASA for a number of years on multiple projects. Our partnership at King’s Ridge has been so impactful for the women and for our community,” staff at The Women’s Center shared.
Bridgett’s Story
A powerful example of this impact is Bridgett, who came to The Women’s Center during a time of deep uncertainty. With limited housing options available, King’s Ridge, where she now lives, offered the stability she needed. Today, she is working, becoming more self-sufficient, and rebuilding her life with confidence.
Her journey is featured in CASA’s video Bridgett’s Story: Finding Hope at King’s Ridge, which highlights how supportive housing creates real pathways forward.
“King’s Ridge has been transformative for the women we have supported through this partnership,” staff shared. “Bridgett’s video shows the impact that housing can make on people experiencing homelessness. King’s Ridge provided an option for her when there did not seem to be many available.”
Moving Forward Together
The Women’s Center emphasized how essential this collaboration is to their mission. CASA’s affordable and supportive housing options give their team additional ways to help women pursue safe, permanent homes when opportunities are available.
Together, CASA and The Women’s Center are expanding access to housing, strengthening community support, and helping women across Raleigh find a fresh start and a brighter future.
