On 12/9/22, Perry Place was a busy site as the NCHFA honored Congressman David Price for his many years of service and support of affordable housing. CASA was thrilled to play host for this event just as we wrap up construction on this 48-unit community. Congressman Price has been a great supporter and friend of CASA’s over the years– we would often call his DC office with questions and advocacy for bills, he would attend our open houses, and most recently with Rep. Deborah Ross, he helped secure $2M in federal appropriations for our King’s Ridge project in Raleigh.
Perry Place is now in its final stretch. Kitchen cabinets and counters are being completed and flooring is beginning to be installed. As these final pieces fall into place, the community is beginning to look and feel like a true home.
The playground and pavilion have also recently been installed. We can’t wait to see the joy on our future families’ faces as their children finally have a safe place to play after school.
As we inch closer to completion, we’re excited to welcome our newest CASA residents home. In partnership with Norco Property Management, we have begun the leasing process for Perry Place. Rental applications are now being accepted and apartments will be leased on a first-come first-served basis. Please see our website for details https://www.casanc.org/perry-place/
In a few short months these apartments will be filled with families starting the New Year in a stable, affordable apartment. A wonderful gift with many thanks to all of you.
