This month we’re excited to recognize Rebecca Joyner as our Partner of the Month! Rebecca has been an active member of our Board of Directors since 2018 and has just stepped into the role of Board Chair for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
Rebecca says, “I’m thrilled to be stepping into service as chair of the CASA Board at such an exciting time – we are experiencing a lot of change and with that comes a rare opportunity to best position CASA to “scale up” our proven model at a time when the need for affordable housing has never been greater. I could not be more bullish on where CASA is headed.”
A resident of Durham, Rebecca is a partner at Parker Poe, where she serves as counsel in financing for cities, towns, counties, authorities, private schools, colleges and universities, and other nonprofit institutions across North Carolina. Her expertise in legal matters has helped guide CASA over the years and makes her a valuable board leader.
