In an effort to help our tenants stay safe, we’d like for you to do the same. Our 2020 fall fundraiser will still go on as scheduled, but with one big exception: Everyone will be staying home.
Instead of getting dressed up for our annual night out as usual, we’ll be holding a virtual fundraiser on Thursday, September 24 to help complete our goal of raising $100,000 so that more people will have their own place to stay safe at home.
How It Works
Visit our website throughout the day on September 24 to see video messages from community leaders and stories from residents, and take a virtual tour of our homes. Buy some tickets for our Safe at Home Raffle to support both our housing mission and some local businesses. You can even invite your friends to help us meet our goal by setting up your own fundraising page.
You can also track our progress toward our goal in real time, and of course, make a contribution of your own. We need your help to reach our goal of $100,000. Donors who give $70 or more are eligible for one of our brand new swag thank you gifts.
Sign up for our email newsletter to receive updates and more information as the event draws closer. This year’s event will be in memory of founding board member Lynn Roberston DeMent and longtime CASA CEO Debra King.
Help Make Raleigh, NC a Better Place
It’s not too late to get involved. We have various levels of sponsorship categories still available. That means you can have your business promoted on our website and social media channels along with other marketing and networking opportunities, all while contributing to our cause and making a difference in your community.
You can see a list of our current fundraising sponsors here.
While our annual fundraising event ends when the clock strikes midnight, time never runs out on donating your time or money. Our efforts to provide affordable housing in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the surrounding communities of Durham and Chapel Hill are made possible by the generosity of people just like you, and there are many ways in which you can get involved.
So join us on September 24 — virtually, of course — to participate in our fundraiser and provide your neighbors with a home to stay safe. Let’s all make a difference, one dollar at a time.
