Hope Village at Method

A future CASA community located on Method Rd in Raleigh for young adults aging out of foster care.

This community is in partnership with The Hope Center at Pullen.

Quick Facts:
  • 10-unit building– 1 being an office
  • 9 1-bedroom units; 8 units for Hope Center clients, 1 unit for a Resident Advisor
  • This property will cater to youth aging out of foster care
  • Serve ages 18-24 (up to 27 if they’re parenting)

Why housing for youth aging out of foster care? 43% of former foster youth experience homelessness by age 21. This property will give them a chance for a better future.

Thank you to the City of Raleigh and Wake County for supporting the development of this community to end homelessness for at-risk youth.

The Hope Center at Pullen’s youth advisory Board was given the task to name the community. After much deliberation, they chose the name “Hope Village at Method”. The Youth Advisory Board wanted to keep the Hope name and also convey a sense of togetherness with “Village”.

The Method Rd property is in a great location in Raleigh that will be ideal for the population we serve. The community has a city bus stop located right outside, along with a WolfPack bus line nearby as well. A grocery store is located 0.5 miles from the property and both NC State University and Meredith College are located less than a mile away. Along with being connected to the city through bus lines, this property is close to several greenways.

CASA will break ground at Method Rd in the spring of 2024. We hope to complete construction by spring 2025. This community is a part of our expansion efforts laid out in our 5-year strategic plan. We set a bold goal to add an additional 500 affordable housing units to our portfolio by 2025. We’re well on our way, but we need all the help we can get. CASA is working to fill a funding gap for construction. If you’re interested in learning more and contributing to this project, please reach out to Emma Doss at email hidden; JavaScript is required.
