Celebrate with us as we proudly introduce our esteemed Partner of the Month for August 2023, the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust! We are thrilled to acknowledge and commend their unwavering dedication to the cause of increasing affordable housing opportunities for veterans within our community.

Thanks to the invaluable contributions from the DAV Charitable Service Trust, CASA can continue its vital mission of providing affordable, secure, and long-term housing solutions for veterans. Through the Veteran Supportive Housing program, CASA has been able to establish 51 specialized apartments exclusively for veterans, fostering a sense of camaraderie and support among these heroes. Additionally, an impressive 56 veterans now enjoy the benefits of scattered site supportive communities spread across Wake, Durham, and Orange counties.

Richard Marbes, President of the DAV Charitable Service Trust, shared, “The DAV Charitable Service Trust is proud to support CASA. By empowering veterans to obtain permanent housing, CASA instills purpose and provides hope to those who are on their healing journey.” These impactful words exemplify the profound difference the DAV Charitable Service Trust has made in the lives of countless veterans.

As an organization, we are deeply grateful for the courage and sacrifice demonstrated by our veteran residents, who have selflessly served our country. With the generous support and benevolence of the DAV Charitable Service Trust, their impact on the lives of those we serve has been immeasurable.

In conclusion, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust for their unwavering commitment to our cause. Your generosity has brought hope and renewed purpose to the lives of our cherished veterans. Thank you for being an invaluable partner in our mission to create a better future for those who have served and protected us all.
