CASA is happy to celebrate the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Sunrise Rotary Club as our May Partner of the Month!
The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Sunrise Rotary is a club of Rotary International. Rotary International is a global service organization of business, professional, and community leaders who share the vision of a world free to disease, poverty, and illiteracy, promoting world peace and understanding.
The Sunrise Rotary Club has been supporting organizations in the Triangle and across the world for 35 years. You might recognize their name from the annual Rubber Duck Race, their signature annual fundraiser, that raises tens of thousands of dollars every year for local charitable organizations.
The 30 members of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Sunrise Rotary Club are among 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide. The local club focuses on nourishment, water, humanitarian support, housing, and education. The Sunrise Rotary Club has been a CASA partner since 2014 and has given nearly $10,000 in support of CASA’s affordable housing mission.
