CASA is pleased to announce the RRAR Realtor® Giving Network (RGN) as our Partner of the Month for October!
RGN has been a longtime supporter of CASA and has been financially contributing every year since 2018.
In total, the Realtors® have contributed more than $26,000. These funds have gone toward furnishing apartments, our COVID relief efforts, food cards for residents, supply donations (including nonperishables, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc.), and A/C units. They’ve also supported CASA’s Housing Solution Fund, which helps bridge the gap between what our residents can afford to pay in rent and what it actually costs to maintain their housing.
Heather Thompson, Executive Director of the RRAR Realtor® Giving Network, has been a friend and active supporter of CASA for years. On multiple occasions, when CASA needed last-minute support or a small group of volunteers, Heather has shown up for us. She’s even brought her daughters along to help.
Most recently, Heather advocated for affordable housing support through the Triangle Multiple Listing Service (TMLS) owned by RRAR and secured a $10,000 sponsorship for Band Together. These funds will support not just CASA, but several other housing nonprofits in the Triangle. We’re so grateful for this amazing sponsorship and for our partnership with the RRAR Realtor® Giving Network.
